Thomas Johnson III is a multi-talented musician, known for his emotionally compelling soundtracks, genre-less approach, and unwavering dedication to his craft.  As a songwriter, composer, and producer, he does a little bit of everything, turning his ideas into fully formed arrangements that can stand on their own merit or help bring a film to life.  Thomas is a unique new voice in music, capable of creating innovative tracks that stand out from the competition.

Thomas was always meant to be a musician.  He began playing at age five, and spent his early years learning every instrument he could get his hands on, showing a particular aptitude for piano and drums.  In college, he double majored in Jazz Performance and Business Management.  Inspired by boundary breaking artists like Quincy Jones, Duke Ellington, and Kanye West, Thomas spent several years studying everything from classical music to jazz before launching his professional career.

After graduating, he relocated to Culver City, where he founded Guest House Music Productions.  Having recently completed the score for the short film ‘The Peace Officers,’ the company is quickly becoming known for its high quality productions.  Additionally, Thomas does mixing and mastering work out of his studio. He is devoted to using organic instrumentation to create tracks that capture the magic of live performance.

Thomas believes that your focus determines your reality.  It is a mantra that continues to serve him well as his career begins to take off.  With several new projects in the works for 2021 and beyond, Thomas is poised to bring his music to a worldwide audience.
